A deep well pump is a special water pump installed in a deep well for water supply or drainage. There are several reasons why the deep well pump motor often burns:
1. Long time use. The deep well pump motor generally needs to work continuously for several hours or several days. Working for a long time will cause the motor to heat up and burn out.
2. The load is too heavy. If the depth or flow of the deep well pump is too large, it will increase the load on the motor, which will cause the motor to overheat and burn the windings.
3. Overvoltage or overcurrent. An unstable grid voltage or a short circuit in the electric pump circuit can overheat the motor and burn out the windings.
4. Starting too frequently. If the deep well pump starts or stops frequently, factors such as insufficient heating of the motor and overload will superimpose, which will easily cause the motor to be overloaded and burn out.
5. Environmental factors such as humidity and temperature. In humid, high temperature and other environments, the motor is prone to moisture absorption and overheating, which may cause burnout.
In order to avoid burning out of the deep well pump motor, attention should be paid to controlling the grid voltage, keeping the electric pump circuit smooth, avoiding frequent start and stop, overload, and regular maintenance of the motor at the same time.
